Should I get something else, just to finish my tank off?
I have a 40 litre/ 10gallon tank with:
5 neon tetras
2 guppys, male and female
1 leopard cory.
Thanx in advance,
nix

I think a betta would look good. Maybe a few more tetras so you have a nice big school in there too.

Is my tank big enough for this though???

No. A Betta would have a short life in your 10 gal with all those fish. I would say get another female guppy, then you would have a breeding trio. If you did want to breed, you would need a contraption or net breeder, as your neons would eat the fry in a hurry.

Also, how big is your lepord cory?

cories need a school, which usually means at least 6, but in a 10 gallon a trio should suffice. but the neons should have at least 6. what filter and water change schedule do you have?

Filter is going all of the time and we change about 25% water change per week.

I would say that your tank is pretty full at the moment. I think you should work with schooling fish in larger groups than you have them in now. As far as a betta goes...no way. Not in that tank.

Yea, i guess a betta wouldnt be that great with those fish, but i think a larger school of neon tetras would be cool

leopard cory is about 3 cm or 1 inch approx
Don't know much about inches cos we use cm here in NZ
