How long can tropical fish survive in unaerated, unfiltered and unheated water? The council has decided to cut our electricity from 8am-3pm tomorrow and only letting the general store know about it one day before!
My normal heater runs on electricity so I wont even be able to heat up the room the tank is in to keep it warm.

All of your fish should be okay if you have the tanks in normal room temperature.
I recommend that you turn of your filter (if you have one ) when the power is turned of and than clean it before you turn it back on once the power is back. Toxins might otherwise accumulate in your filter and be pumped into your tank when the power comes back on.

I think I read somewere in this forum that you can protect the aquarium with a blanket to avoid the loss of temperature..
Anyway If its only from 8.00 to 15.00 I guess you will not have such a big problem.
