Very cool! Let me ask, what are the mason jars for? Is that actually a shine still disguised as a fish tank? :18:

I use the mason jars for my DIY co2, the larger is for my mixture and the smaller is to filter out any over flow, and used as a buble counter, i modified the fluval intank to introduced the co2 into the tank

Nice looking tanks and a nice assortment of fish too! You're braver than I am to try out live plants and a DIY C02 set up if you're new to the hobby. Sounds like you're hooked on fishkeeping already, like many of us here!

Very very nice! the common pleco can get 2ft long, so be prepared to move him. Also, the chinese algae eatrrs can get 6 inches and may harass the rams. Otherwise, great job. :)

Both my algea eaters, and pleco in the ten are very small and were a purchased for cheap to keep the tank clean, knowing that blue rams are sensative to water quality, i am currentley looking for a suitable bottom feeders for the ten to coincide with the rams, any suggestions would be appreciated

Oto catfish work okay for algae. Also, sometimes cory cats work well.
