Can I vacuum?

Now that my tank is cycled (thumbs2:), is it okay to vacuum the gravel some? Or should I wait awhile longer?

did it JUST get cycled?? and is there any fish in the tank yet??? if there is no fish in the tank i don't know why you woul dneed to vacuum it. I would wait until you get some fish and there is some waste on the bottom.

There are 6 danios in the tank. So, there is waste. lol I just wasn't sure if I would mess the cycle up if I vacuumed so soon.

well if there is some waste i don't see why you can't vacuum.....just don't do a HUGE vacuum. DOn't forget that the bacteria lives in/on the filter media aswell.

lol Ya'll are funny. I'll vacuum it this weekend probably. I can't seem to find my vacuum thing. I had one quite awhile back when I tried goldfish (with no luck), but I think my mom may have thrown it out by accident.


I reckon that's a good excuse to invest in a python, eh?
