So, most of you have read about me committing to my 10g. Heres what I've got so far.
~STEP ONE~
I've ordered new lights. Good by to the 40 watts of 6700k from my incandescent hood with power compact bulbs, hello 96w of 50/50 goodness.
http://www.aquatic-marvels.com/media/20-96watt.jpg
I ordered it a few days ago. It just now shipped from Anaheim, California. The guy said i will most likely get it Saturday.
~STEP TWO~
As soon as I can make ~50 more dollars, I'll have enough to buy and ship a 10g version of "The Package" from www.tampabaysaltwater.com , as per Dave's recommendations. It will take a few weeks after the first shipment to get the second one, and probably a week or so after that until the tank is ready for fish.
~STEP THREE~
Stocking options.....I'm shooting blanks. Dave linked me to a few great sites with profiles of marine fish, but there are soooo many to choose from its hard to make a decision.
This is what I need help on. I would prefer to not have clowns, because I don't like the fact that they are known to the general public only as "Nemo".
Any suggestions?
Also, look at this sweet avatar I made in flash:

Good choices so far Dru!!!!
Just my opinion, but I think the royal grammas look really cool. I have not kept one, so I can not attest to their personality. The purple and bicolor psuedochromis are also very cool.

I had a clown goby. Then I had the deal with the faulty water conditioner. He was a really cool fish, but it was sometimes hard to get him to eat.

what about a yellowhead jawfish or a Green Chromis

Never heard of the jawfish, but there is a tank full of blue green chromis. Most people use them for cycling a tank, but I think they look pretty cool.

Seahorse - Kuda $49.99
Not a big fan of seahorses, or the price for that matter, lol.
What about purple psuedochromis?

the purple psuedochromis is a option, just make sure that you dont have any other fish/inverts with him. my royal dottyback killed a $80 shrimp and made a run for my clown goby, who i still have.

Very, cocoa. Easily bullied, though, and small (an inch) so tankmates would have to be chosen very, very carefully. Thought that little guy would be perfect for Drum's 10.
