Hi Everyone,

I have a 10 gallon tank that I have been using to grow some amazon sword and duckweed and use as a quarentine tank. I just added two female and one male guppy's into the tank two days ago. I just did a water change yesterday. The fish look fine but I noticed on the air driven sponge filter some very tiny critters swimming around. They are maybe the size of a grain of salt and whiteish in color. The male guppy I noticed was what looked to me flashing a couple of times on the tank bottom. I have not kept guppy's before only goldfish and some tetra and wondered if this was maybe guppy behavior or is it a parasite problem or nothing to be worried about. Thank you!

It could very well possible be guppy fry. Guppies reproduce like carzy.

agreed ^

Fry like to pic bacteria of sponge filters, keep looking see if they look like colourless little fish.

Yea, I do not think it is a parasite, or anything malevolent. Thank you for the help!
