I was thinking of setting up a nano reef and found this link.

If you have used this aquapod, please give me a review on how you found it.

The only thing I would be concerned with is the weak lighting. 54w isn't exactly up to par for a 12 gallon tank.

54w is fine for a assortment of corals, coach fraley has 6w/g and his tank is awesome

I am probably not going to have much corals if I get a nano reef, because I am a begginner.
I think I will order the nano cube once I get the money.
The same website has a good selection of corals too>> http://www.toofishy.com/reef_aquarium_supplies/Soft-Corals-p-1-c-262.html
And stuningly cheap live rock>> http://www.toofishy.com/reef_aquarium_supplies/Live-Rock-p-1-c-258.html

The good thing about nanocubes/aquapods/biocubes/nanobioaquapodcubes is that they can be upgraded (although a bit on the pricey side) ....

which is why i didnt get one, to by the system itself, everything i need and the pay for upgrades would have cost me twice as what i have spent on my standard 10

A lot of people purchase the cubes simply for their looks! IMWO (in my wife's opinion), they just look cooler in a room than a standard tank.

As far as the lighting goes, the watts/gallon ratio is a little distorted on the "all-in-one" tanks. A 12g cube has roughly 8 gallons of display and 4 gallons of "rear chamber". So a aquapod 12g essentially has 6.7 watts/gallon (cocoa calculated it just right).

As A340 stated, the cubes are also very easy to modify. The fuge mod. is particularly easy.

BTW, thanks cocoa and erik:c3:
