New Decor

So i'm redoing my 20 gallon tank tomorrow. Gonna try to break it up into two territories for my gourami's. My red ones got the blue one hiding in the plants 24/7. The poor thing only comes out to eat. So I'm taking out the waterfall (selling it), and i'm putting in 2 caves.....ones a treestump cave and the other one is a log cave. Hopefully it turns out good. I bought some extra plants too...even though i'll probably need more. I just hope this seperating thing works so they get along better.

Btw, just as a stupid question...do you think my waterfall would sell on ebay, even if its been in my tank for about 2 months?

im sure it would sell, just say that you put it in your tank and it didnt match with the decor

Finished everything today....only took around 2 hrs. Most of which that time was spent trying to catch my tetras to get them out of the tank! haha

I must say I love the way the tank turned out. I wasnt expecting it to look like it does, but either way i'm really happy with how it looks. Its definately a lot more planted looking than my last setup with the waterfall. My gourami's are actually not bothering with each other too. Which was the whole reason I tore apart the tank so soon. I think its that they have plenty of places to get away from each other. Whether it be in the caves or in between plant areas. I got some pics I just need to get them uploaded to my computer. I'll post them for sure tomorrow. :) Yay! I'm so happy with it! :)

I have 2 male dwarf gourami's and one started to get aggresive with the other. I got warned by a few members that they had seen the same type of behavior I did, and in the end, one had killed the other. I thought maybe if I broke the decor down into more "noticeable" territories that maybe they would keep to themselves a bit more. With the water fall being so big, there was no way I could accomplish that with it still there.
So now I have more hiding places and plants....and so far, mission accomplished b/c they've been leaving each other alone. It seems like it takes them actually a bit of effort to find each other through all the different places in the tank.
