Depends on where you are in the world, but lfscultures.com here in the US has a large kit of live micro-algae, including euglena. Its where I get the majority of my live food cultures.

you can also use microworms....they are great for raising fry. and at around 1 week you can start to feed them BBS.

what size of tank do you have them in?? is it in a breeder tank with just the fater gourami????? when do they start to disappear??? when they become free swimming???? or while they are starting to hatch???

Should I keep the father gourami in there with them?

Once the fry are free swimming, he should be removed, because its fifty-fifty whether he'll eat them all or not.

Not so much of a tank, just 1.5 gallon bowl, is that ok?

The 1.5g fine but is it heated and got some kind of filtration?

It's heated, but there's no filter, I thought gouramis can breath from the air, is it necessary to put a small filter?
