umm im not quite sure but i currently use purple waffle in a room tempreture tank which is at 19 degrees celsius and it grows fine and i i have used it in tanks 28 degrees celsius and it grew like mad

Than you should likely be fine. I was worried that the pond might get to cold in the winter.
