It's "methleyne blue" and it shades the water blue, to prevent fungusing and the sort. It works for protecting all fish eggs.

methylene blue, acriflavin, there are several anti-fungal preps that can be used. Hydrogen peroxide works great and you don't have to remove it.

The folks on the angel forum say 3ml per 10 gal every 12 hrs until hatch
Depending on temp, they should hatch in 2-3 days and be free-swimming in another 2-3
Do not feed until they are all up swimming good, not just a few darting around. You need to have food ready in about 5 days.

ok....thats pretty simple. I can have BBS for that date. I know that i have to feed them BBS about 2-3 times a day for like a couple of weeks i think until they can eat flake food. Correct??

congrats squirt on the eggs
they take any where from 2 to 4 days to hatch
the fry can eat crushed flake and they love the slim on the tank, they will become free swimming in 2 days and they are slow growing so be prepared to be looking after them for ages if you are caring for them, i usually let the parents do it, it is sooooo much easier they are very good at looking after their young
good luck squirt and congrats
