Dying baby oscar

Because nearly all my fish were bought as woundies or half dead fish and ive nursed them back to health my friend gave me his little 2 inch pink oscar to take care off till it got better is wasnt eating much at his house but it ate yesterday a small peice of prawn and blood worms he seemed fine last night, but this morning i awoke to find him flat on the bottom he will occasionaly have a burste were he shoots up a bit but then sinks down is there anything i can do
Need help ASAP

thank you, i dont think there was much hope for it anyway because i had seen this little fish at the shop and noticed it was quite sickly, my mate happens to be buying a red tiger oscar and a pink oscar tomorrow and then he is aslo giving them to me as he finds it hard to look after the young oscars for some reason, im giving them back to him when they are bigger
