Got my betta and clownfish

just finished acclimating them and they both seem to be enjoying there new home, the clownfish is so active and so fun to watch and the betta is real pretty. Also got some empty shells for the hermit crabs and some food and filter pads. I love my new fish:malelovies:

That betta looks almost identical to mine! Very nice. :] I love the looks of clownfish.

I counted 10 dorsal spines from the picture, so I think it is a true. But the black margins around his bars are awfully skinny, so I could have miscounted the spines. 10 spines is a true percula, 11 is a false.


And for the love of all that is good, DO NOT name him nemo. Nemo was an ocellaris clown, not a percula.

Looks more like an A. ocellaris...

Price will also give you a hint, A. percula is more expensive...

Upon further review, it does bear a strong resemblance to an Ocellaris as well.

Popeye - That's cute!! I usually name my fish, but I haven't named my guppies yet other than my orange one. I let my 4 y/o nephew name it. So, my orange guppy is Flower now. I'm sure he likes having such a girlie name.
