fiddler crabs....nocturnal???

i was wondering if fiddler crabs are nocturnal or do they sleep at night??? mine are out and about during the day but i never knew if they were nocturnal or not.

I read that they are diurnal, but I'm not really sure - I've noticed mine being more active at random parts of the day. Sometimes, they will be the most active at 11 pm, but sometimes in the middle of the day as well. I'm not really sure.

ok....well i have always wondered......mine are active during the day but i don't really watch them when i turn the light off so i wouldn't know.

My males seem to be WAY more active than my females.
