why r they hiding

I have 4 peppered cories in my 29gal tank. I have a 12" bubble bar in the gravel about 1 inch from the back wall. The cories just sit behind it all the time. They are never out looking for food or anything, at least not that I see. Why do they hide back there all the time?

are the corys new to the tank? if not, theyre probably just chillin in the bubblewall until nightime when they feed

they are not new, they have been in there for weeks now. its boring when they just sit there all the time, lol. my 2 albino cories in my 10 gal are very active, so i was wondering why these ones arent.

all cories are different. just watch 10-15 minutes after the tank lights off, and you should see them scrounge for food
