Has anyone tried OMEGA ONE foods my lfs recommended it so I gave the super color food a try and after two weeks I can see difference in my bosemen rainbows and my cardinal tetra and all my fish like it. Is this good food or is the Tetracolor flakes just that bad. The first ingredients are whole salmon, halibut krill rockfish and shrimp, sounds pretty good to me.

I have heard it is supposed to be good.

I only feed New Life Spectrum. It has proven to me to be the best food and the color enhancement is VERY good, along with growth and health. You can check out the thread I started on it for more information.

Yes! I've been using Omega One for about the past year...

Fish are doing very well. Probably the best easily available option out there!

I use omega one also. My lfs recommended it to me a few months ago. My fish love it and look great. It is a great food. (and a lot easier to find then new life spectrum)

Thanks for replying so far my lfs has been giving me really good advice it seems like. I think i will try the veggie flakes and alternate them with the super color flakes and throw the tetra flakes in the garbage. Its kind of funny I looked on line at the ingredients of the veggie flakes and the first things listed are salmon and halibut. I guess they added a salad to go with the fish dinner.

Actually it contains artificial colors so they seem more like veggie flakes. I actually did not know that until I just looked up the ingredients online.

The NLS nutrition article warned about this. Just saying, that is why I thought to check on it.

Tetra has a flake now that is supposed to contain OmegaOne. Tetra Premium, TetraPlus..something like that.

Hobbs messed up here. Read correction below.

What do you mean, it contains another company's pellets?

Wow, thats weird. Its possible that it contains another companies food, but why would they do that and try to sell their own food at a higher price. Unless (which i'm sure they would be) getting a cut from the tetra food sold with their food in it.

OOPS. TetraMini ProCare contains Omega 3.

I stand corrected. Getting my little Omega's mixed up.

That's what I get for reading my fish catalogs at 4 AM. I'm certainly not afraid to admit I screwed up when I screwed up.
