Yet another lighting question.
Recently, I did a little bit of work on a website for someone, so now I have $120 on my paypal account to use.
Today, I spent $80 on various items to improve my saltwater setup, like new substrate, Calcium, Iodine, and Strontium, new fish food, some underwater epoxy, and a few other smaller things.
Now, I want to kick my llighting up a notch. Can anyone reccomend me a good lighting fixture for under or close to $150ish?

Haven't used them in ages, but a single-bulb 150 watt halide pendant light would give your 10 all the light it needs. Unfortunately, finding one for 150 bucks would be challenging, as most I've seen are 50 to 100 dollars more than that.

those are good, and i think those are the best for your price range. if you had around $250-$350 MH would work

Drum, I have the single bulb 40 watt fixtures like those that you linked to. I have one each on my 10 gallon planted tanks. Rock solid, nicely made, no problems at all. They get warm to the touch but not hot. Exterior is all metal, a definite plus.

I just bought that one (the Current USA PC 20" one) I really like it does a wicked job with the lights. I don't like how theres 4 differnt plugs, well that cause it has 3 different lights and 1 fan. And the fan is kinda loud and needs to be on while the main lights are on. Good luck!

I was just considering setting up a 10g SW (decided against it), and the one I settled on was:

It's looks like a pretty nice light that will provide 8W/g. A friend of mine has one for a larger tank and he loves it.
EDIT: DUH! I didn't click on your link until after I posted this. Clearly, I approve of what you found.

Its a choice between the 80 watt, and the 96 watt fixtures. The 96 watt fixture is only ~$10 more than the 80 watt one, so I think that would be the place to go.
Thanks for the links guys.

Well, I did order a guitar off of the internet with my money, but, it was on backorder. So instead of spending my paypal money on that, I am going to go ahead and order the 96 watt fixure. I have to wait untill the money gets credited back to my account though, so it is going to be a few days. Then, I will have 100 dollars in cash to spend on more LR and fish, which I still need to determine which reef safe fish I will be wanting, but that will be for a later thread. Thanks for all of the good links you guys!
