I am asking because I swear some of my (approximately 3/4"-1" long) guppies are pregnant.

well with platies i've heard 3-4 months so...

I spose you could check if any have developed gonopodiums yet

To my experience it can be as little as six weeks before the fry are sexually mature.

I think guppies are born pregnant.LOL. I think its 6 weeks when thier sexually mature

6 weeks sounds about right. They are about...maybe 8-10 weeks old at this point. Interestingly enough I introduced 2 new males to the mix because I had 1 male and 12 females. The new males quickly killed the original male. Fascinating behavior.
