How many gallons does your tank hold? And no on the discus. What filtration are you using?

not a hope discus and oscars can technically mix both being amazonian, but with a pleco and three silver sharks it wouldn't be advisable as oscars can grow to 15" each depending on the pleco it could be up to 24" when fully grown and the silver sharks could hit 12" plus as it stands in a four foot aquarium you are overstocked for these fish to reach adulthood

Let's get some information about tank size, filtration, etc. so that we may better guide you. If it is less than...I'd say at least 100 gallons and with superior filtration and water changes this stocking is not good.

Almost no matter the tank size oscars will destroy discus.

Yes, absolutely agreed, and I should have been more specific. I was speaking to the current stocking. Oscars and discus will not mix.

You would think that oscars and discus could mix but definelty not. You could get 2 separate tanks for each if you like both.

definitely not, discus should be species only, with the exception of being able to add small tetras like cardinal tetras

Oscars would quickly kill the discus. And if you got lucky and got a breeding pair of Oscars than nothing in the tank is safe.
