I know it seems impossible, but I am having trouble breeding my platties.

how big are they? how old are they? do you have a heater or are you adding salt? all i did was put a doubel layer of marbles on the bottom and some thick bunche sof plants, but you dont even need the marbles. no salt, no heat, good filtration, and a great diet. what are you feeding?

it can also be that u may have only one sex, when mine wouldnt breed i put floating plants in and they were breeding before the end of the week by breeding by the end of the week of course i mean mating

and the ideal ratio is no more than one male per two females, but i use one male for every 4-8 females.
