Can anybody help?

ive been trying to get my tiger barbs to breed with no sucess, ive tried many things. and now 1 of my barbs has gone pale as if its colour has faded. Can anyone give me any handy tips please?

how are you trying to trigger them? most fish wont just breed as long as things are going great, they need to be triggered. in ideal conditions (as far as water parameters are concerned) with proper conditioning the usual is to do a water change with slightly cooler water after feeding some good healthy live foods. since tiger barbs are egg scatterers the best method is a breeding tank with 2 layers of marbles on the bottom to do this conditioning and stimulation in so that when they lay the eggs they cant immediately eat them. then remove them out of the breeding tank and put them back in the main tank.
