I just went outside today out to my pond to feed my goldfish. I first started by shutting off the pump and then glared into the pond... there were 4 new fish in it which I have no clue where they came from. I dont know if these are trout or what, I just wanna their species so I can get the correct food for them.

Here is the best picture I could take, it's a bit distored from the glare on the water.

My pond is pretty much on my lawn and there is a fountain shooting up that anyone driving buy could see as shown below.

I come from a community that is rich in fishing. My best bet is that while we were gone yesterday that someone driving buy must have noticed are fountain and decided to go fishing and put them in our pond sense the trout have to be around 6 inches to be allowed to catch, but these guys are tiny.

I live off of the eastern coast of Nova Scotia. So I live right by the ocean with plenty of other fisherman and there are lots and lots of freshwater lakes and rivers running around me.

And about the mealworm, I think I'll check if walmart sells them sense that would be the only pet store nearby. There is also a store that sells fishing supplies, so I'll go there aswell. If not, then I will dig them up because there is another one we go to every few weeks. I do suppose my goldfish enjoy their company.

Ever sense you posted that, I got my 10 gallon fish tank all setup and found all my medicines, neutralizers, and whatcha ma call its all ready. It's looking good. If the fish doesn't lay eggs by the time I buy my 30 gallon tank in 2 weeks then im gonna put my heater back into it and get some tropicals.

I have plenty of fry food and a small seperator container ever sense this doctor at the hospital me some fry... but none of them lived.
