Sebastian is the Sire of my clutch of fry that are currently about 1 week old.

And this is why I can't get any good photos. Desdemona, my sisters Himalayan, along with my father's Himalayan called Kandahar, are obsessed with this tank, Desi sleeps on it. They also like to run right in front of the camera. Poor Sebastian flares at them and swims back and forth like on guard patrol.

I'll post pictures of Natalia in a day or so, I figure, I'm buying a new 20g tank and I plan on putting her in it. She hates her medical tank.

Thanks. I've had bettas for years, this is my first time spawning them. So far it looks like there might be 100 babies, more than I first thought. There still only 5mm or so long, maybe less so I am not certain.

I thought he was a basic betta splendan, he always curling around in circles, so I am not certain. When he flares its one big tail.

His mate is a round tail. She's lovely when she isn't mad about her bowl. Right now she is mad. She's moving to a new 20g tank tomorrow, so she will be thrilled.

Sebastian has actually died. I had a leak in his tank in the middle of the night and had to put him in my community tank. In the morning I found a cichlid my father had put in my tank had eaten his tail. I was medicating Sebastian in a private tank after that, but he died this afternoon.

I'm peeved at the presence of the cichlid in my tank to begin with, but at least I have the babies.
