I recently got two carved volcanic rocks for a freshwater aquarium I might be setting up soon, and while setting them up out of an aquarium to find out how the rocks fit best together for an aquascape, and it occured to me that the rocks were not really tall, and would only decorate the bottom half of an aquarium. I can't think of any ways to elevate these rocks. I can't think of any ways to raise rock sructures, so if you can think of anything, please reply to this topic.
Maybe you might want to post some pics of the rock so that we can have a better idea. How big is your tank? Long or tall.

Here is a picture of both rocks together

Each rock stands about 4 feet tall, and the tank I will be putting them in will most likely be 10 gallons.

LOL 4 ft tall.
how about tying some java ferns to the top of them, looks good in my tank.
Hmm..so..you want to place the rocks more mid to upper section of your tank? seeing that the rock are that size, I don't think there is a way for it to be place that high. Setting them at the bottom of the tank would be nice if you use the proper plants and place them well.
