Guess what i found!

well i went into my garage looking for the extra ligths b/c one of the bubls on a strand of christmasl ights went out and i noticed that there was a big thing covered in blankets. i knew it was a christmas present and i shouldn't of looked but i did. MY PARENTS BOUGHT ME A 55G! it's still in the box and its sitting on this really nice wood stand. i'm so excited, o have to wait for a week before i can get it tho, and shhh ym parents don't know i saw it. I'm so excited. I guess im gonna have to start thinking about stocking it now!!

edit: it's either for christmas or my birthday which is thurday, and theres no other presents so i think its a birthday present, either way im extatic!

i dunno, i'm so excited! Well i'm putting the blood parrot, sev, con, and Fm in it. Then maybe another blood parrot or some angelfish if possible. maybe a jack dempsey. any suggestions?

You darned liar. It was wrapped in 40 rolls of wrapping paper, hung from the rafters on hooks, wrapped in electric wire and barbed wire, it had animal traps all over underneath it...........lololol

Plans can sometimes go haywire. My parrots and firemouth hate each other. My firemouth got a good hold of the parrots lip last week when I just put them in the tank for a minute to clean the other tank.

haha that's what they shoulda done. my parrot seems pretty mellow now, but i dunno what she'll be like when she's older. i would love to have 1-2 angelfish, but it might be iffy. i might try them and take them back if there's too much aggression. but most of the websites say they should get along.

Not ALL of them in 55 gal. I hope...you decide on only ONE sort of Cichlid in this aquarium. All together will end in a desaster.

the blood parrot, firemouth, convict, and severum have been in the 29g since june, and they've been fine. they're all compatible according to the internet. Myabe not the angels then tho. But i definatly want to get a raphael catfish.

Green Terrors are pretty and compatible if you can find one.

1 by itself needs a 29-30g tank. A pair can be kept in a 40. the rule is 30g for the first bp and 10g for each additional bp.
