Hi,
I'm going to go buy this tomorrow and wanted some opinions on this type of setup. Three 30 gal tanks joined together, 7' long 2' high & 1' deep. I was planing on using it for fresh water. Looks like it holds water fine but could use a good cleaning. But could it break, is it safe? Let me know what you think. Any ideas for fish? I attached the picture, hope you can see it.

Thanks

I think it comes with an under gravel Ocean clear filter not sure what one or size but looks like it is already set up if you look close. I hope some friends will help me move it, I have a 1500 Chevy.

That is a very interesting looking tank. Did you get it? and if so How is it going?:c3:

Also if it was me I would find some kind of plexiglass dividers or something...to put into the tubes. Might help with filtration of the three tanks. Make them more seperate. ya know?

I like that idea! I would have made the cylinders that connect each tank a little bigger myself though. I wonder if fish actually swim through them?! If ya get it ya gotta post pics of it with the tank stocked!

Yes I have seen a setup like that before. Pretty unapealing if you ask me.

i was thinking about this more

each tank could have a differant theme
one could be really natural with good lighting and planted with drift wood etc

another could be rock based decorations

and the other could be perhaps asian themed, or perhaps castles or cathedrials or dare i say it clown puke and fake plants

The UGF simply will not cut it. Look for a higher end HOB for each of the sections.

i forgot to mention filtration. the best would be to get 2 fluval 405 canisters, and have the intakes on the left side and right side and the output in the middle
