10g puffer tank update

well i FINALLY got rid of that comet today. My LFS took him. I also bought some ghost shrimp fom my LFS to see if the ouffers will kill/eat them or not.
I don't think that i have bought any new plants but they have grown some more and i have pruned some.

OOO and my Red Tiger Lotus is finally starting to come out. i am so excited.

well here are some pics of what it looks like.

P.S.
I am only using CO2 on my plants at the moment and i am going to get some fertilizer first thing into the new year.

Beautiful tank there Squirt!! We tried a ghost shrimp with our puffers right after we first got them, and the shrimp didn't survive through the night. I'll be interested to see how a shrimp works out with your puffers.

Trinity...i am hoping that the rocks (piled ones) and the hornwort help keep mine alive because the puffers can't swim through the hornwort but the shrimp can walk through it so i hope that they live and if they do then i might get some more.

well...so far the shrimp have been in the tank for about.....3 days and they are all still alive. So i think that i am going to get some more ghosts and in the new year get some other shrimp to go in the tank.

That is a wonderful tank. I absolutely love what you have done with it. When you add more plants for the heavily planted look, Please do show us more pics please.
