I have eight Sturisoma festivums. They reach eight inches long, prefer water neutral to slightly acid, moderately soft water, and mid to upper 70's temps. Mine are kept in pH 6.8, gH 4, kH 6, and 77 degrees. They spawn on verticle surfaces and their large eggs are a grassy green. Mine usually spawn on the back glass, but occasionally pick a leaf on a large sword plant.
They need real green algae and multiple veggies to thrive. They prefer a planted tank with driftwood, with open spaces, as though they look stately when still, they are no ballerinas when swimming.
