Will it help eat the dead plant matter? I bought it hoping it would. Wanted to get my snails some help and introduce the 1st fish to this tank.

Just to clarify, corys really aren't happy alone. Best in a school of at least 3 but preferably 5 or more. I don't believe they will eat dead plant matter, but I am not at all sure about that.

I was just about to write what gm said. They do a great job of eating leftover food on the bottom of the tank, but I'm not sure about the dead plant matter.

I'm aware of the schooling thing, LFS only had one left today. I'll either get more or get him together with my Panda. But thanks for the heads up!!

Great idea, you'll see him really liven up with company.

He's pretty active only a day after introducing him to the tank, which makes me feel better. He's actually pretty hard to spot right away (when not swimming) with his camo, as I have black stone mixed with Flourite. Maybe that helps since it feels comfortable in his hiding ability.

I have to say, they are quite beautiful for a cory.
