Hello everybody.

I've thinking about redecorating my 20g fw tank. I've been looking tons of pictures and videos to take ideas.

I do like those plants that form something like a carpet or greenmat in the tank bottom.

Do any of you can advice about plants that would do that and where can I get them?

Thanks in advance.

Dwarf hairgrass or Microswords will make nice carpet plants. You may be able to get them at your LFS. If not, You can get them off of ebay.

Another great carpet plant that will grow under lower light is Lilaeopsis.

Hemianthus callitrichoides
Glossostigma elatinoides
the above are true real carpeting plants with Glosso being the ulitmate that many Aquascapers use as carpets

You could also use Riccia fluitans or a moss tied to slate/stones to make a carpet

I'm ordering some Glossos, and some java moss for my driftwood as well. Glossos makes a nice carpet. You need alot of light though.
