Neat, Hobbsy. Found out my 700 gallon tank is actually 697.68 gallons. Who knew?

any time your calculating volume you should enter the inside measurement

Sorta old post...it said my 30 gallon was 23 gallons! And I said 30" x 12" x 18"! Hmmmm....

did you make sure to check UK v US gallons, measurement units and the other small things that can be tweaked on there?
also, i really liked that it provided you with how much lighting you should get for each kind of plant depending on distance from light to substrate and the amount of heating required.
i realize that it's not entirely accurate, but it's great to have some sort of estimate to go off of.

I know the thread is old, But that is a pretty neat tool.
I have to double check my measurements, I know my 36gal is not 42gal.

It says my 40 gallon breeder tank is really 44.88 gallons lol
