are yoyo loaches known for eating algae-eating shrimp & other types of shrimps? thanks

Depends on the age and thus size of the loach. Your Botias reach six inches long, and if you keep two inch shrimp, you should be fine, however, the loaches will eat any small ones, as they eat aquatic crustaceans as part of their natural diet.

my yoyos are about 2 inches long, they dont touch my smallest shrimp yet, which are about 5mm long i guess.
