Tiger Barb

I have 5 tiger barbs with 5 zebra danios in our 84 gallon tank. The barbs really don't stay together, they are pretty comfortable to do their own thing and only stick together for very short periods of time. Only one of the tiger barbs has decided to stay behind a rock and will chase any other barb away. Doesn't chase the danios away. Anything to be concerned about?

How long have you had the barbs? They may just be setting up their own territories.

I have never owned tiger barbs so maybe someone else could provide further advice. I have read that they are aggressive so keep an eye out. Check for nipped fins and such. With the large tank and some cover, I think you should be ok.
