Hello everyone. I am very happy to be here at Aquatic Community. I have had a fascination will aquatic creatures ever since I was about six years old, starting with a betta fish, Shiloh. After Shiloh died I dropped out of the fish-keeping hobby but still collected and raised tadpoles and caught water bugs for study. Currently, I have a 55-gallon outdoor tank with mosquito fishes, blue and pink ramshorn snails, tadpole snails, and wild crayfish. I also have a 5-gallon with two markomoreb crayfishes, a tub of large wild crayfishes, and a 10-gallon aquarium with live plants, some fish, water slaters, dragonfly larvae, mystery snails, MTS, tadpole snails, blue and pink ramshorn snails, ans I am adding some more water slaters and a red water slater soon. Sometime in the next couple of years I might get some more aquariums- I have my heart set on some bristlenose plecos. Thank you for letting me join. :)

Welcome! :22:

First time I've heard of people intentionally keeping dragonfly larvae in their aquariums :)

Feel free to share photos of your setups!

Thank you everyone.
I have kept dragonfly larvae in my aquarium successfully with small, fast-moving fish and snails with trapdoors, and they all seem to be doing well in my current one. I can probably post some pictures of them if you'd like. :)
Also, how can I upload a picture onto my profile?

I need some help naming my invertebrates. I have four un-named Mystery snails, one albino tadpole snail, two baby Malaysian trumpet snails, three mottled dragonfly larvae, four water slaters, and I might be getting a water bug soon- the black and orange-striped variety. Any ideas?
The Mystery snails that already have names are Blueberry, Nacho, Lemon, and Pringle. Thank you. :help:

Haha that's too many to keep track of for me! I only name a select few animals that stand out for one reason or another.

I'm rather intrigued by the Dragonfly Larvae you have, do you have any pictures you could share?
