Yes, they have very cool yellow fins. Didn't know anyone else had posted a video of them spawning. Here's one I took two years ago:

I may have been the first to spawn them in the U.S. (The PVAS author is friend of mine and got some of his fish from me.)

I didn't watch the vid yet, but that is very awesome! Nice cory!

It varies greatly. They produce a lot of small eggs. Sometimes a bunch hatch and other times not so many. The first time, I think I got about 75;fry. I’ve got about 15 adults right now and am waiting for the next spawn.

Are you in the States?....do you sell them to certain individuals only?

I’ll sell to anyone, but I don’t ship. I plan to put a bag in the auction at the All Aquarium Catfish Convention in October (http://www.catfishcon.com). Otherwise, see if they are listed on www.aquabid.com, by the seller “finzz”. He’s a friend and a great guy and I think is still breeding them.

Thanks very much for the info.

BTW, you were mentioned in the article steeler58 linked...nice

I thought they might be expensive being a rarer cory, but TWS has them for $10.00 a piece, that's not to bad.

Yes, although you’re probably better off with tank raised, just because they’re more used to tap water.

A friend told me this that he recently caught hundreds on the Rio Nanay in Peru, so maybe that explains the price.

I had forgotten that! Been a while since I read Donís article.

Thought the fish looked active on Friday! Pulled eggs on Saturday and found these little guys zipping around today.

Wow congrats! How many?

A lot, at least 40. I moved them into two Marina breeder boxes. Unfortunately, I’m gong to be away for a few days. Hope they are still buzzing around when I return.
