i got em. i would have replied earlier but my internet clonked out.

They shipped EXCELLENT. He had a huge Styrofoam crate with 2 heat packs, foam peanuts, and lots of space.

when i got them, they were at appropriate temperature, and he sent me a extra free coral. he even called me a while ago to see how it went.

My only complaint was on greyhounds behalf. I called, and i said i had live corals shipped. they said that they might not bother to take them off the bus until tomorrow morning, which made me almost go beserk. they came off the bus a few hours ago.

I'll get pics in a hour, so far theyre all opened and doing great

heres a few crappy pics of a few of them.

The first one is the umbrella leather, the second is athelinia, the third is a target mushroom, fourth is brown polyps, fifth is the kenyi tree and some other coral, 6th is green zoas, seventh is my toadstool and green polyps

(these are frags, so they have growing to do)

thanks!

i dont like to use purpling products for my LR, all i did was run 2w/g for a few weeks before any fish or corals were introduced and i got natural purpling

Is that cyanobacteria all over the back walls? Looks like you have too many silicates.

cocoa_pleco

nope, just regular algae. cyano is red and from poor flow. i purposely bought a product that encourages natural algae growth because my tang loves algae

I didn't know they make such a product.

You have officially gone crazy. You are the only person I know who WANTS algae in their tank, lol!

Futureboy

Lol i think the algae looks better then a clean back

makes it like its the tanks own little space not just some rocks in the middle of the room

that might only make sense to me...

i only scrape the front algae on the tank so i can see the actual tank. the main reasons i like the algae are the tang can graze and the coral banded shrimp and arrow crab are able to climb the tank glass and clean my powerheads.

my next mission is to get some nice purpling on the back of the tank

Looking very nice cocoa! I can't wait to see it all grown out. I'm SO jealous. I predict a SW tank for me sometime next year.

Wow, I have never heard of those except the Kenya Tree.
Green nepthea are similar to kenya trees and they are awesome. My wholesaler said he could get me some kenya trees but I opted for the toadstools.
