Does anyone have, or know of, a cold water marine tank? I think that a big 150+ gallon tank with some big rocks, seaweed, maybe some kelp-like stuff, and a striper (striped bass) would be really awesome. It would need a chiller, along with the other stuff... but I think it would be neat. Then again I live 45 minutes from the ocean so I would be able to get this stuff pretty easily. Alas, maybe someday.

I've read and seen a few cold water tanks, and they can be very pretty. Bat stars look cool, and I once saw an adult Garabaldi in a 2,000 gallon that was incredible. Just need to keep everything below 70 degrees. All kind of small cold water life can be kept, just make sure you don't break the law collecting them from the wild.
