I have a pair of crayfish in my 75 along with a common pleco (and many other things) with no problems. If the tank was big enough for an oscar it should be big enough for the crayfish and pleco. Is it a common pleco?

my wife has a big crayfish 4" plus, nothing has escaped being chewed on by him.If your crayfish gets a hold of your plec he will be bitten.

The 10g is a really bad idea. For a crasyfish id go for a 20g long nothing smaller and even bigger for a blue lobster. Same with red lobster..

Cray fish are extremely strong for their size.If you do get one make sure he is about half to three quarters the size of your pleco. Becuase If the crayfish got a hold of your pleco It would probaly Injure it or worse eat it.

Just think about how you would feel being caught in those pinschers and decided if you want to put your pleco through that. Especially such a small pleco like you have. IF worse comes to worse. your little lobster can cut him in half and kill him.

I checked your profile and a 10g isn't big enough for a crayfish OR a common pleco. Especially too big for 2 scars and a florida soft shell turtle.

If you live in Florida. I've heard of people digging a pond in their back yard an putting Oscars in it.

With out a doubt, you will be taking a risk with your Pleco. Crayfish will eat anything in your tank and they are not picky as to what they are. If it is a meal it is a meal.

Some have no issues with it but it is really not a matter of if but of when. Some are lucky and that is just luck. Others are not so lucky.
