Does Squid have fin rot? (Pics)

I'm not sure if Squid has fin rot or not. It's pretty clear in the first pic that part of the top of his dorsal fin is folded and darker than the rest of the fin. That pic is from Aug. 31, the first day I got him. The second pic is from today. You can see that it is still folded but not as much and it's no longer discolored. It seems like it's getting better slowly. Should I treat him for fin rot just in case? BTW, his tail is not shredded, part of his tail is clear and difficult to see in the pics.

Even more so since he is better than when you first got him.

For me i would keep the tank clean keep up the water changes

a folded deformed fin is not a cause for concern. The betta simply split his fins and it healed that way. Or it is simply a deforminity.
