Replanting a plant that is currently flowering.

I was growing out some bulbs in my 10 gallon but with school starting back up soon I hadn't had the time to replant them and now one of them is about to bloom after becoming emergent. It isn't tall enough to be emergent in the 29 gallon, would this kill the flower? Can I tie it to a suction cup so it can stay above water?
I was sold 3 bulbs of Aponogeton ulvaceus. This one looks different to the others.
It's leaf shape has always been different and it has grown a whole lot faster. It is about to overrun my tank.

Is that an apano stem? ( I answered my own question They usually only bloom out of water so I would wait until its done then snip off the stalk to plant the tank-unless you wind up with seed pods on it-then you can submerge it and wait for the pods to fall off.

Do you have any better photos of the leaves? It looks like a longipulmosis by the leaf, but they usually have a single stalk flower-that one is double pronged
