Water change to soon?

I would like to have Tuesday evenings be my water change night. Wife doesn't get home till 8 - 8:30 from her second job of frosting donuts. It would be perfect.
I picked up my Mikrogeophagus ramirez
On Saturday, would it be too soon to do a WC tonight? He seems to have adjusted well.

Water changes done correctly are never too frequent, and will do no harm, in most cases.
