I forgot that I kept these at one. They were the only cory that the late Dr Innes considered attractive enough to get a color plate in his book. Rereading the book I felt he thought of cory's as "scavenger fish" only :(

I got mine from Cory's r us, a dealer that is no longer in business, but dealt mostly with cory's as you can imagine from the name and a few other rare fish. Expensive, not so much on the fish but the freight was out of sight, it cost me a hundred plus for six, but I'd never seen them before. They arrived safety and were full grown wild stock, they lived a few years in my 50. Now I see them for sale all the time ;-)

They are another one who's fry does not resemble them until a few months into growth: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=5&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwi6-pvwiP3UAhVK8GMKHb41BEYQFgg-MAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.scotcat.com%2Farticles%2Farti cle114.htm&usg=AFQjCNHNBP5KQXqTQ_Gztb9FyMclSDbOeg
