Here's the gold, orange, yellow version of the green laser, I've seen them called all those names across the internet. I little more available than the green and less expensive. I have kept them in my tank and still have one left.

Unfortunately these did not do well for me. I lost the last one of the group a few weeks ago.

Sorry to hear that Sil, that's an expensive loss, mine were doing well until the heater went out, still have one in the 75 :(

That sucks. Do you think it was bad stock, or was it the water params?

Yowza! I just looked at TWS and those are a bit pricey. I would love to have a school of them.

"Wilds" are still pretty expensive, TR still go for 10.00 but still..........

$10 isn't too bad. I think I paid around that much for some of my sterbai.

I'm really not sure. My params are always good but I was keeping the tank at 78*. I now keep it at 76*. This tank has never had any issues like my other 75 did.

Here's a brief video of my orange/red lasers, CW014 or CW023. There's a debate as to whether there are two different species or not. They are definitely different than my CW010, which is why I call those gold lasers. The orange stripe on the CW014 is darker, and doesn't go the whole length of the fish.

What about your other stats, like your pH and hardness?

Some sources say those are a form of C. schultzei

What about your other stats, like your pH and hardness?

pH 7.2-7.4 and hardness is very low (soft). I think KH/GH were both 1-3. Which is why I always keep a close eye on the pH since my tap water is not buffered at all. Sometimes I have to add Seachem Equalibrium if I notice the pH starting to drop. This is mostly in my smaller tanks, though. In the 75s the WCs usually keep it in check.

I'll go with what PlanetCatfish says. I have fish that might be C. schultzei, and they're very different.

We can now officially add another one to the list, and pictures don't do them justice. I can't get enough of these little guys...
