Cleaning Ornamental Rocks in my tank?

I lost a pleco in my 55 gallon about a month ago and have not replaced him yet due to the fact i am moving shortly.

Since then, I have had some algae build up a little bit to discolor some ornamental rocks in my tank. They seem to be stained. What is a safe way to clean them?

I was considering boiling them? Each is about 6inch x 6inch

I have found that a bleach solution works best....soak an ornament for a little while...rinse well, and then just to be safe I put it into water treated with stress coat to make sure I got all of the chlorine neutralized. That was before my darling fugly came along though! (my bristle nose pleco keeps tank looking great!)

Boiling works good to kill the algae but works less well to remove the algae. You would still have to scrumb the rocks.
