A friend of mine has the upto date marine maps for our area.
Well we followed with GPS and went 30kms out to sea fishing.
Spent hours and hours with the sounder trying to find the reef. But nope not there.
A 1km round mount rises up from 44m to 15m from the surface.
All I found with a grid pattern search while scanning was 44m deep water. No reef at all.
