Here's one that I've never kept and is a mystery to me. One of the first cory's discovered, 1886 but not readily available in the trade until recently again. They seem to be in abundance as most video's you find (and there's a lot) have really big schools but the lowest price I've seen them offered at is 30.00 a piece!! If I could set up a breeding tank dedicated to just them a Mac always suggests, then maybe i could justify the price.

Anyway, for the time being I can enjoy them vicariously through all the video's I've mentioned ;-)

I give you the "horseman cory" ;-)

See how many species of cory occur within their range: https://www.planetcatfish.com/common/search_result.php?temp_min=22.5&temp_max=26.0&tempunit=deg_c&order=species&results=100 Scroll down a bid ;-)

I think they are one of the prettiest species, with their blue and gold colors. I once found a dealer who was selling C. "eques" for suspiciously cheap. I should have trusted my instincts. I couldn't identify for sure the small, pale, stressed fish in the sale tank, and they all grew up to the the much plainer (IMO) C. melanotaenia.

Whoa they are beauties, and the $30 is explained-but maybe not justified. Imaging getting 6 of them would be at least $180-more with shipping.
