Problem with swords Picture

Can anyone tell me why I have these spots on my swords? I wonder if a snail is doing this.

I've probably removed a dozen leaves like this.

I'm thinking nutrient deficiency but can't be sure since I'm still learning plants myself.

I get that on my swords as well.When it gets ugly I just trim the offending leaf,I try to trim once a week like that.It is a nutrient deficiancy I am sure.Since I started dosing my ferts more religeously I dont have near as much of it.I use seachem:pottas,flourish,excel and a cheleated iron.

OK Thanks. I've been actually worried I was over fertilizing but know these swords like a lot of iron. I don't have a lot of these spots but it's annoying and takes away from an otherwise pretty plant.

I think its a neutrient defficiancy also, although i can't remember which...maybe phospherous or iron?

I think it might be iron, although I'm not sure what the signs of phosphorus deficiency are. Iron deficiency does cause those brownish/yellowish spots though.

Thanks everyone. Darned things should be getting enough iron now but I'll up it to make them happy.

Do you have an iron test kit? If not I would recommend one, it is helping me immensely.

From the one pic you show,I gotta say that it doesnt look at all critical and you may be lacking nothing at all.It is common to have blemishes even in perfectly cared for aquatic plants.

My blemishes are a bit too much tho. I cut about a dozen leaves off this week due to that. It might only be one or two leaves on a plant, tho. Seems if it was lacking in something, it would be all the leaves.
