I added six Boesmani Rainbow Fish on Saturday. A bit pricey but boy are they gorgeous fish!

So far the Boesmanis are the most active fish. They love zipping from one end of the aquarium to the other thumbs2:

Congrats! Just wait 'til the colors fully develop on the males - you can already see the early stages in your picture. thumbs2:

Very good looking fish. Wait till they get settled in, thats when their colors really pop!

Nice video.

Have you noticed how the Boesmani rainbows always snatch food at the surface and then dive straight back down? I've had mine for a year now and I have never seen one linger near the surface for even a second. I figure there must be really active bird predation where they are from.

What do you feed your fry for the first two months? Will they eat frozen BBS or only live BBS?
