I got the suggestion that we should have a member of the month award here at AC and thought why not.

Here is how to become member of the month.
Post new topics, take part in existing discussions, answer questions, and in short are an active part of the community. Submitting pictures and articles will also increase your chance of being nominated for member of the month. (Perhaps even more so than posting in the forum)

I will at the end of each month nominate 5 members for the member of the month award. All members will than be allowed to vote for the one of those 5 members they think is most worthy of the member of the month award.

The winner will get the rank member of the month.

We will at the end of the year vote for the member of the year among those who have won member of the month.

Thoughts?

It starts right now and I'll nominate the members that you can vote for around the 25th.

good idea, but it would be nice if the members could nominate, peoples who they thought should win. and then vote , and pick one. just my 2 cent worth, for what it worth.

Could be done that way too.

feel free to nominate people here as the month progresses. However I reserve the right to nominate people as well ;-)
