Was visiting my friend up in Georgia and we were fishing at a local farm pond. Noticed some very nice red plants that looked very much like ludwigia also some grass type plants with some nice red coloration so like anyone would I reached in and grab some lol.

Thanks gotta love free and potentially something new not available in a store or something. If anyone can identity please do!

I'm thinking I'll grow them out in the soon to be 10g for the male apistos. I'll sanitize them first with tap water that will kill bacteria then I'll treat with paraguard and prazipro once in the tank the tank will be empty for some time so I will treat it like a QT tank and it will he good to go by the time the fish are sexually mature.

One on end kinda looks like rotala. There is whats refered to as a marsh variety. Different leaves than roundifolia.
